Alma 43-52 - "preparations for war"

Alma 39-42 - "my son, go thy way"

Corianton, one of Alma's sons, committed serious sins while serving a mission; however, he is also listed by Mormon as one of the penultimate heroes of the Book of Mormon. Similarly, we all make many and sometimes large mistakes and are encouraged, even commanded, by our God to change from and grow past our flaws. In this episode we search for what truths we need to know in order to make those changes or to help others we love change.

Alma 36-38 - "O Jesus, thou Son of God"

Of all the sermons Alma gave in his long and storied ministry, his writings to his sons had to be his most passionate and personal. So it's no wonder that these chapters illustrate better than almost anywhere else both the incredible pain and joy of repentance from sin and conversion to Christ. Alma 32-35 - "no place to worship"

Alma 30-31 - "I have all things as a testimony"

On the heels of one of the greatest conversion stories in the Book of Mormon the Alma and his missionary companions encounter anti-Christs who attack faith, dissuade from obedience, and preach against God. In a world of relentless attacks on faith and obedience, it's not too difficult to see the relation. Study with us this week as we seek to expose the anti-Christ agenda and learn how to respond in our own wrestles with doubt and faith.
