In this episode we begin to unlock the promise King Benjamin gives to his people in his masterful sermon that if they would hearken to his words and open their ears and hearts that "the mysteries of God may be unfolded to [their] view." With a coming General Conference President Nelson designated as "different from any previous conference", followed by an Easter that we won't soon forget, in the midst of a world crisis that we are struggling to understand, we may feel a kinship with the young Joseph Smith who felt "great unease" about the world he lived in. In this episode we ask the question, "How can I get answers to my questions the way Joseph Smith, Enos, and so many others got answers to theirs?"

Jacob 5-7 - "I could not be shaken"
Monday Mar 16, 2020
Monday Mar 16, 2020
In a world where things are being hourly, minutely shaken up around us we need something to strengthen and solidify us. In Jacob's writings he mentions often his own and his desire to help others receive unshakeable faith. In chapter 5 he quotes Zenos' allegory of the olive tree that, if likened to us, is a story of how God helps the trees of his vineyard grow, become strong (and unshakeable), and bear fruit of hope and peace. In chapter 7 Jacob's faith is tested by Sherem and, yet, remains unshakeable. So study with us this week as we learn how to solidify our faith in the face of uncertainty.
