In this episode of our study of the Book of Mormon we put ourselves in the shoes of this early family and search for what the Lord does to preserve and protect us and our families and, specifically, how He talks to us to guide us to His promised land.

In these final chapters of John's Revelation he describes, in detail, the ongoing war between the Lamb of God and the Dragon of the adversary. It's fitting that in our last study of the New Testament we get a vision into our past and our future all intended to give us hope and help in that exact conflict. The outcome of the war is assured; study with us this episode in search of truths that can make our personal battles just as sure.

There is sometimes occassion for even the most devout desible or the most believing Saint to ask themselves, "Jesus, are you really there?" This question may have been on the minds of some of the earliest readers of the apostle John's epistles which would explain why he begins his writings with the certainty of his own witness followed by some of the richest descriptions of Jesus found in scripture. Study with us this week as we learn what John has to say that might help us feel closer to Jesus and become more assured that He is, in deed, really there.
