In this bonus episode we interview Ashley Laneri, a seminary teacher and a soon-to-be Master of Religious Studies with a thesis on women in the Church. Starting with Mary and Martha from Luke 10 we move to tackling some hard-hitting questions about women in the Church. What is a woman's role in the Church? How can women break the cycle of comparison? And what can we all learn that helps us love God and love our neighbor better?

After a wonderful Easter week where we studied and felt anew how much Jesus loves us we turn our attention this week to how we can better love God and our neighbors. Jesus taught some of the most powerful parables targeting these two, great commandments. Jesus tells us that the purpose of the parables is to "convert" and "heal" us; so this week we study what we learn about the Sower, about the Merchant, about the Savior that makes us want to return to Him and be healed.
