The Scripture Study Project

"Worship is essential and central to our spiritual life." That quote gets at the heart of our study this week. What is worship really? What does it look like? And how can we do it better and more powerfully in our own relationships with the Savior? This week we learn from some of the first to worship Jesus just how to worship him ourselves.

Season Finale! We study Moroni's final exhortations and share a few of our own. Has your study of the Book of Mormon brought you joy? Conviction? Or even a bit of perfection in your life? It has for us! Listen as we study and share. Also, as a bonus, hear the preview of what's coming on Season 2 of the Scripture Study Project!

Life is filled with choices. Period. We must constantly choose between, not just good an evil, but often between good and good! Moroni, knowing this about our day, inserts in chapter 7 a sermon from his father all about judging between choices and learning how to "lay hold of every good thing." Study with us this week and learn for yourself!

In a world that's as bleak and depressing as has ever been recorded in scripture Moroni must, and does, stand strong and hold to his faith. When we're called upon to do something difficult, maybe in the face of opposition and hopelessness, can we stand with Moroni and proclaim, "I will not deny the Christ"? In this episode we study how to do just that!

The story of the Jaredites is one of mostly misery and destruction; however, against that black, satin cloth is set one of the most amazing diamonds in the Book of Mormon: Moroni's discourse on faith and hope in chapter 12. This week with special guest Garret Shields we study the diamond and learn how to anchor our souls when on life's turbulent seas.
