Revelation 1-11 - Revelation

1-3 John, Jude - Fellowship

There is sometimes occassion for even the most devout desible or the most believing Saint to ask themselves, "Jesus, are you really there?" This question may have been on the minds of some of the earliest readers of the apostle John's epistles which would explain why he begins his writings with the certainty of his own witness followed by some of the richest descriptions of Jesus found in scripture. Study with us this week as we learn what John has to say that might help us feel closer to Jesus and become more assured that He is, in deed, really there.

James - Doers

When we read this in James: "Be ye doers of the word and not hearers only," we can't help but analyze ourselves. When it comes to studying the gospel, do seek to learn, really learn from the Lord? In this episode, we both study the doctrine of doing as well as practice a scripture study that has us asking what God wants us to learn, and also feel, do, and become.

Hebrews 7-13 - Assurance

In a world that seems to be constantly at war with our faith, and with persistent temptations to give up, pull back, or draw away, the Epistle to the Hebrews challenges us to remember our great "high priest of good things to come" (Hebrews 9:11) and to "draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith" (10:22). How do we do that? Study with us this week as we learn together how to strengthen faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 1-6 - Captain

To a people who felt their faith slipping and their hearts hardening the author of the Epistle to the Hebrews taught both why they should retain their devotion to Christ and how they could actually strengthen their faith. In this first of our two part study of Hebrews we start a study of everything about Jesus Christ that helps us "come boldly to the throne" of God and which increases our confidence before him.

1-2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon - Swerve

What happens when you feel yourself or someone you love swerving away from the covenant path?
