Galatians - Stand

If you've ever felt pulled in two different directions, commanded to walk a covenant path by one voice and tugged to walk in other directions by so many other voices, than you can empathize with the Galatians. This week we study Paul's words to those who are pulled in different directions and learn, from him and from our own personal confirmations, why we should "stand fast" in the faith of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 8-13 - Thorn

Paul says that he has a "thorn in the flesh", some weakness that persistently bothers him and forces him to admit humility and reliance on God. That feeling of weakness is, of course, not foreign to us as we look at ourselves nor as we look at those around us. So why does God allow us to have weakness and why does he allow those around us, maybe especially those who lead us, to have weakness too. Study along this week to learn from Paul what do with your and others' thorns.

2 Corinthians 1-7 - Groan

Having a bad day? A bad week? A bad year? In this episode we dive into Paul's teachings about just why God allows those bad days/weeks/years to happen and chart a course for how we can be happy in any circumstance. So bring your bad day and listen along and see if we can put a smile on your face!

A simple definition of a temple is: a holy place dedicated to God. Of course we have many temples around the world, but in this study, Paul opens our minds to the idea that we can make our homes, our wards, our bedrooms, and our own personal lives into temples of God where His spirit can dwell. Study with us this week as we learn what defiles those temples and how we can dedicate or rededicate them to our Father in Heaven.

Romans 7-16 - Belong

What kind of member of the Church are you? How would you describe yourself? In Paul's epistle to the Romans he addresses a faith group filled with people from different backgrounds and beliefs all trying to come together in Christ. In this episode we start where we are, with whatever level of faith or doubt we may have, and chart a course to unity in Christ and a true welcoming of all into his Church.
