What happens when a sheep gets lost? Of course, the shepherd leaves the flock to rescue him. But what gets that sheep lost in the first place? What does God feel about those who get lost on purpose? And what can we do to help rescue others who feel lost? Those questions and more answered this week in our study.

John 7-10 - Shepherd
Monday Apr 29, 2019
Monday Apr 29, 2019
A shepherd leads his flock, not by chasing after them with dogs, but by walking before them and calling to them. The flock follows him, not because they fear him, but because they recognize his voice and know his love and concern for them. This week we study some intimate experiences between the Master Shepherd and some of his sheep that illustrate that love and which will help us recognize His shepherding in our own, daily lives.

Thursday Apr 25, 2019
In this bonus episode we interview Ashley Laneri, a seminary teacher and a soon-to-be Master of Religious Studies with a thesis on women in the Church. Starting with Mary and Martha from Luke 10 we move to tackling some hard-hitting questions about women in the Church. What is a woman's role in the Church? How can women break the cycle of comparison? And what can we all learn that helps us love God and love our neighbor better?

Matt 13 / Luke 8, 13 - Sower
Monday Mar 18, 2019
Monday Mar 18, 2019
All too often in our study of the parables we focus on the soil and forget the Sower. Jesus tells us that the purpose of the parables is to "convert" and "heal" us; so this week we study what we learn about the Sower, about the Merchant, about the Savior that makes us want to return to Him and be healed.
